March, 2004 - Recently, I received an email from Judy Venaas, "I had to show off my finished project. This was my first pieced project. It was so much FUN! I really enjoyed learning this "new" way of quilting. I will definitely be doing other pieced projects."

She went on to say, "I started this quilt as a way to learn something "new". I haven't been quilting very long and have been trying different ways of quilting. The patterns and directions to make this quilt were very easy to follow. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to learn this technique. This was a great project because I really enjoy doing handwork and the appliqueing on the Wee Flower Patch Quilt was a perfect choice to get me going. I really enjoyed making this quilt and hand quilting was another new experience for me. I sure do appreciate all the work that quilters put into their projects."
