March, 2004 - Petra Moser, like many quilters worldwide, is an incredibly busy woman. She told me she is married, has four Children and a big house with a great garden and lives in Bavaria, near Munich. She tells about her lovely little quilt:
One other thing Petra said is also true of many of us, "Patchwork is my compensation to everyday life, especially my kids made me crazy, LOL." Thanks, Petra, from all of us all over the world!
I'm Petra from Germany and want to share my finished Weeflower Patch with you. It was my first "BOM" I've ever made and it was gorgeous. I've applied mostly Debbie Mumm fabrics for it. Although it's already the end of March I look forward to make the new BOM Bonny Basket quilt, :-)
I made patchwork correct (with rotary cutting, ruler, etc.) since three years, but before I made totes, baby bedclothes, curtains and other useful things in patchwork style. I hadn't enough time to make wonderful quilts like I do today Lol:-) Thank godness that I have a hubby, who helps me as best he can with the kids and the household, without him, it'll be impossible to quilt. By the way I paint primitive wood craft, I knit, I crochet and embroider. And if I had time I play my keyboard or go inline skating. If you also would like to make your own Wee Flower Patch Quilt, it is available as a pattern from Jeanne Rae Crafts.
